Guild Committees (Chaired by Guild President, Guild Secretary and SA Staff)
- Hospitality Committee (liaison w/Stage Manager)
- Production Committee (liaison w/Production Manager)
- Front of House Committee (liaison w/Box Office Manager)
- PR Committee (liaison with Marketing Director)
Hospitality Committee
- Cast/company party organization/map, directions distribution
- Media Copies/photos/reviews to artists
- Coordinating Artist/Intern housing, welcome info for out-of-town artists
- Food for rehearsals
- Ice/Water backstage & at tech
- Parking coordination for company
- Food for strike/tech/etc.
- Opening Night Cards for Artists/company
Production Committee
- Set Load-In
- Light Hang
- Strike
- Drive Truck
- Pick Ups/Drop Offs
- Painting
- Set Up Box Office Structure
FOH Committee
- Manage/recruit ushers
- Raffle Ticket sellers
- Concessions if needed
- Coffee urn pick-ups/returns
- Cream for coffee
PR Committee
- Generate list of local festivals/events for outreach opportunities
- Attending festivals and distributing flyers at community events
- Distribute flyers/posters as scheduled in Tri-Valley
- TBA Postcard drop-offs
- Attend Chamber Mixers on behalf of SA
- Track and organize press/media in binder
Fundraising Events (a sub-committee of the Board's development committee)
- Opening Night Benefit, Treasure Hunt or dinner event or special readings, Auctions & Raffles …
- Tasks will depend upon event chosen
- Staff liaison is Administrative Director
- Budget and goals are developed with BOD Development Committee
- This sub-committee coordinates with venue staff for site use
- Secures/creates caterer, linens, decorations
- Secures entertainment if needed
- Works with Guild President to secure volunteer staffing
- Designs and mails the invitations
- Maintains records of values and dates of gifts
- Communicates regularly with SA staff so that proper program and thank you note acknowledgment is sent
- Creates “baskets” or other display of gifts
- Sells raffle tickets, along with other volunteers, at events
